Nardello & Co. assisted a leading international company in gathering intelligence regarding the trade routes used by a supplier, an American-owned Israeli company suspected of breaching US sanctions by purchasing products from Iran to be sold globally. Our work involved making discreet human source inquiries with, among others, trading and logistics sources in Iran; shipping companies in the Persian Gulf and Mediterranean; sources within port authorities in the UAE, Turkey, India, and other jurisdictions; haulage companies in Turkey and Europe; and end clients of the company across the globe. Nardello & Co. worked closely with the client and successfully identified documents—corporate, litigation, customs, and others—that demonstrated the company was indeed obtaining its products from Iran.
