Due diligence assessment of potential appointment
On behalf of an international aerospace company, Nardello & Co. conducted a due diligence investigation of an agent who claimed to have strong government connections in various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates. Inquiries with government and military sources in Abu Dhabi and the wider region, coupled with a review of public records in Arabic and English, found that the potential agent had limited experience in the UAE and no obvious connection to the Abu Dhabi police or the armed forces. Based on our findings, the client chose to look elsewhere for its representative.
