Helping Grupo Televisa SAB determine the truth about an anonymous letter
On behalf of Grupo Televisa SAB, Nardello & Co. was retained to investigate claims against executives made in an anonymous letter sent to the board of directors. If true, the corruption and wrongdoing by certain executives alleged in the letter would have exposed the company to reputational and legal risk. After conducting a thorough investigation into the allegations using a variety of investigative tools, Nardello & Co. found no basis for any of the claims. A public company, Grupo Televisa disclosed the results of the investigation in a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission as well as Nardello & Co.’s role in it.
