Instrumental in the recovery of $ 9 billion of assets for creditors, following the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX

Immediately following crypto exchange FTX’s bankruptcy and collapse in 2022, its new CEO instructed Nardello & Co. to help lead the global investigative effort to investigate the circumstances surrounding one of the biggest financial frauds in history and recover billions of dollars in company assets for the benefit of creditors.

Our team assisted in recovering for the estate billions of dollars in liquidated cryptocurrency holdings and other investments; developed actionable information on the company’s former leadership, other company insiders, and many subjects of preference actions; mapped political contributions and other financial and corporate transactions; supported numerous adversary proceedings and other litigation; and led due diligence investigations. Our work was recognized by the independent examiner.

Leveraging the firm’s global reach and our staff’s expertise in due diligence, litigation support, asset tracing, financial analysis, computer forensics, and conducting crypto-related, digital, and fraud investigations, we helped the company achieve positive outcomes for creditors in record time, given the size and complexity of the bankruptcy.
